How much does an arcade machine earn per month?

A coin-operated strength machine (boxer or kickboxer) placed in a decent location earns €900–€1,800 per month. The lower end is a cash-only machine in an average spot; the upper end is a cashless-equipped machine in a busy bar, FEC or shopping mall. In high-traffic seasonal locations — seaside promenades, festivals, tourist zones — we have seen machines collect their entire purchase price in a single summer month.

Payback in practice: a real example

Take the Kickboxer X Prize at €5,990. In a typical bar location it does around €45–€60 on weekend days and €15–€25 on weekdays. That is roughly €1,300–€1,500 a month, which means the machine has paid for itself in 4–5 months. Entry-level models like the Boxer Fight Night II (€3,490) reach break-even even faster.
